Panoramas | UP Michigan Fall Color Michigan’s Upper Peninsula always delights with color. The images for this pano were captured just after a rain shower with the sun peeking through the clouds. I’ve tried to go back to the same place several different years, but without the rain on the tree trunks, it’s just not as dramatic. A little rain can do wonders for saturating colors and increasing contrast. Of course, this image was stitched from several images captured in portrait or vertical mode, then cropped to smooth the edges. For the whole story with all images, see Panoramas | a 7 Image Story.
