Nikon D3x Bread Sticks | Old Mission The Mission San Juan Capistrano is a historic landmark. It was founded over two hundred years ago as the 7th of 21 missions across the state. It includes a chapel which is still standing where Saint Serra celebrated Mass. Originally was built to be a self sufficient community; a center for agriculture, industry, education and religion and is famous for the annual return of the Swallows.
