Gray Squirrel Finally, the snow has shrunk enough in the last several days that I can use a more wooded route for my walkabout. This squirrel was having a very busy day. He must hurry because another 7 inches of snow is predicted for tonight. In the distance, the sound of Sandhill Cranes can be heard; our nesting pair is back on the lake.
