Extra! Extra! | American Bullfrog Meet the American Bullfrog. Finally, my walkabout yielded a decent image of this common frog. Every Time I would get close enough for a shot in the past, the frog would see and/or hear me and jump away under water. They really blend in with the other debris and slime in the water.
The Back Story This image was really a simple click because the frog did not move even though I was moving around along the shore. The tilt screen on the Nikon 1 V3 really helped so I did not need to lay down along the shoreline in the weeds. Note: I post an image everyday at hankconrad.com.
