Gray Squirrel On my last walkabout of the year, it seems altogether fitting and proper to capture an image of a grey squirrel quietly eating his dinner. This guy is a particularly beautiful specimen. I’m not sure yet if I’ll continue daily images again next year. Right now, I’m just happy that I was able to accomplish my goal for 2013. Have a Happy New Year.

Cardinal Although Cardinals are common in these parts, they always make a good image. This tree near my deck provides a natural winter perch for them. Even so, a 400mm lens does not fill the frame with bird.
