FiFi & Doc Before Oshkosh this year, 50 years had passed since B-29s have flown together in formation. FiFi has been flying for quite a few years. Doc flew again after restoration last year. It took 17 years to restore Doc to airworthiness condition. This flyover at Oshkosh was the first time they flew together.

B-29 on Final: yes, FiFi was flying today giving rides. My position on the airport was not the best. Still the Superfortress always impresses.

The B-29 Cockpit seems quite large. Tomorrow, a few lucky people will be able to fly in FiFi. What a view! Notice anything a bit out of place; perhaps, something not available in the 1940s?

FiFi B-29 Superfortress at KARR FiFi the B-29 Superfortress arrived at KARR, Aurora Municipal Airport, today around noon. Tomorrow, the crew will be giving airplane tours for a small fee. Saturday and Sunday they will also be giving airplane rides for a higher fee. FiFi will leave ARR on Monday and make one more stop before flying to Oshkosh for AirAdventure.
