Summer Walkabout Flowers | a 7 Image Story Sometimes, my walkabouts bring to mind simple pleasures. The walkabout might not run across any wildlife or even nice landscapes, but simple flowers always brighten my day on summer walks. On this walk lilies seemed to catch my eye a bit more than others. This walkabout started with a path into the wetlands before winding back through the streets.

It’s easy to grow and produces vibrant, 5″ blooms that repeat during the season. They show their blooms in late spring during the normal Daylily season and then again just before fall.
