Spring Snow | a 7 Image Story Hopefully, this Spring Snow will be the last of the winter season. It’s one of those wet, heavy; here today, gone tomorrow snows. Still, while it’s here, it’s fun. Jokingly, some folks say spring snows are warmer than winter snows. Actually, they’re usually right! A sunny 35°F spring day after the snowfall really feels much warmer than a cloudy 22°F winter day for a photo walkabout.
Why the Loon image? These amazing Loons came to the lake the day after the ice melted. Actually, several pairs of Loons showed up on the lake along with hundreds of ducks.

Yesterday, the grass was green and the ice left the lake open. Today, everything is covered in snow. The wet snow and wind have combined to form large granular snowflakes. Tomorrow, the rise in temperature will melt the snow and make the grass green again.
